Inavi Saghu Undergraduate Scholarship Recipient
My name is Visakuo and I am majoring in Biology at Calvin University in Michigan.
I am honored to receive the Inavi Saghu Undergraduate Scholarship. I would like to thank the Naga American Foundation for establishing this scholarship to support Naga undergraduates in America, and for choosing me as this year’s recipient.
I would like to thank my parents, my uncles and aunties, and my grandparents. If it were not for their love, kindness, and wisdom, I would not be where I am today. I would also like to thank others whom I have not named who have supported me in my endeavor. And most of all, I want to thank God that in my difficulties, He takes care of me as I trust in Him. This scholarship will help me as I prepare for medical school and biomedical research.

Aryo Shishak Graduate Scholarship Recipient
My name is Benjamin and I am a MALD (Masters of Arts in Law and Diplomacy) candidate at the Fletcher School in Tufts University. My focus of study is in International Development Policy and Business for Social Impact.
I am privileged to be in the academic ecosystem of the Boston area, having access to some of the best institutions in the country and worldwide. I am grateful to the NAF for supporting me as I navigate through this new experience and build my career. Through this award, I am also reminded of the value we share as a people in helping each other out, especially when we are far from home. I thank the NAF and hope to be associated with the community in the future.
