Naro Longchar
Aryo Shishak Graduate Scholarship Recipient
My name is Naro Longchar. I am a double master’s student at Campbellsville University, pursuing Piano Performance & Pedagogy and Choral Conducting. I am beyond grateful to receive the NAF Scholarship this year for several reasons. One, as a conducting student, I will soon be purchasing musical scores for my choirs, so the scholarship will help to cover that cost. Two, writing the essay for this scholarship enabled me to better understand my multi-cultural identity as one that may not seem to “fit in” on earth, but surely fits in the body of Christ. Three, it was my prayer from the beginning that regardless of the result of my application, my story would bless the readers. Now, my story can go beyond.
